#SixForSunday: Desert Island Dudes

Time for another #SixForSunday. This week, it’s six characters I’d like to be stranded with. I’m choosing to imagine that I’m stranded on a desert island with them, but that this island happens to have a house, unlimited food, and A/C. Just so that I know I’m not going to die and be eaten by someone…

Izzy The Exact Opposite of Okay – I think we’d have such a laugh, and I would so be down to randomly improvise stuff, chat shit, make chilli cheese fries, and discuss arsehole boys who don’t deserve our attention.

Bryson Keller Date Me, Bryson Keller – He’s captain of the soccer team, a regulation hotty, smart as heck, and also a genuinely nice person. Why wouldn’t I want to be stranded with him?!

Tilly Tilly and the Bookwanderers – Tilly is a fantastic person and I think having her bookwandering abilities would be a great way to pass the time.

Aomame 1Q84 I’ve always loved Haruki Murakami (see my book covers post if you don’t believe me) and I think Aomame is one of the most interesting, coolest characters he’s ever written. I think she’d be brilliant as a companion stranded on an island, and her being a personal trainer wouldn’t hurt at all.

Chaol Throne of Glass Chaol was always my biggest Sarah J Maas crush. Is there another reason I’d want to be stranded on an island with him?

Saphira Eragon Saphira is a dragon, and super smart, and extremely magical, and I would just love the chance to hang out with a dragon and chat to them. Plus, her rider is cute so if he’s there too, I’m totally OK with this…

So, there are my six. Did any of the match up with characters you’d like to be stranded with? Let me know in the comments or on twitter!

  1. Hey, if you were stranded on an island with a dragon she could just fly you wherever you wanted! I personally think that might be a little bit of a cheat. đŸ˜› I’ve actually never read any of these, and with the books I tend to read I’d be better off making a list of characters who I’d rather drown myself in the sea than be stranded with… Cool list!
